PRODUCTs

Clays

Since the material is biodegradable, it is crucial that our clays are stored below the temperatures mentioned on the products packaging and at a dry location.

  • Do NOT leave the clays in a vehicle etc. on a warm day (+25 degrees celcius/77 degrees Fahrenheit), a vehicle can within 1-2 hours become twice as hot as the temperature outside.
  • Do NOT  let the clays become wet, always store at a dry location.

You can find more info about storage on the specific product under “Storage”:

On all our packaging boxes we indicate how to store and transport the clays. Here is the most important factors to keep your clays intact.

  • Always transport them standing up. (There is arrows indicating which way should be pointing up.)
  • Keep dry and out of sunlight.
  • The clays are fragile, so handle with care.
    • One tiny crack in the clay will cause it to break during launch.
  • Do not expose the clays to higher temperatures than mentioned on the packaging.

In the clay shooting world, clay targets/clay pigeons/clays are measured on their content of PAH* to determine whether they are eco-friendly or not.

We have ensured our bio-clays contain less than 0,2 mg PAH pr. kg. Which means they fulfill the current environmental requirements, and they are future-proof against new requirements.

To compare with the current regulations in Denmark, as an example we looked at “Skydebane Vest” in Hedehusene which requirement is: “Content of PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) in the used clay pigeons can not exceed 10 mg/kg.”

You can find their environmental approval, together with the rest of Denmark’s shooting ranges by clicking here.

*PAH (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) is a group of hydrocarbons, which poses a possible health and pollution problem that can have a negative impact on soil, wildlife, groundwater and surface water.

Our clays are made of a biodegradable granulate based on reclaimed potato, grain, root or seed flour based resources. (Also referred to as starch) In addition, 2% dye is added to the granulate to get the desired color.

No, you can NOT use normal clay pigeons with our clay throwers. You can only use our clays which you can find here.

Clay magazine

You can find the quick start guide for our Clay magazine here.

SkeetMaster

We are currently finalizing the development of the SkeetMaster, and we’re expecting to launch it in the spring of 2025.

We recommend you to sign-up to our Waiting List for the product here. If you sign-up we will notify you, when it’s ready for sale.

TrapMaster

You can download the most recent user manual for the TrapMaster here under the fan called “Documentation”.

You can find the Quick start guide for the TrapMaster here.

Yes, It is possible to place the TrapMaster on a camera tripod with a ¼ inch screw, (which is the most common screw on tripods).

An example of a tripod you can use, can be found here.

Important features required of the tripod:

  • Screw type: ¼ inch screw
  • Has to have a load capacity of at least 2 KG / 4.4 pounds.

The TrapMaster can launch up to 300 times on one full charge. Which means you can launch up to 600 clays if you only launch doubles/pairs.

Battery

  1. Take the charger from your TrapMaster case and plug it into a power outlet.

  2. Connect the other end of the charger to your TrapMaster.

  3. Make sure the charging LED beneath the ON/OFF button lights up to ensure its charging.

  4. The battery will automatically stop charging when it reaches full capacity. (The charging LED will turn off once its fully charged.)

  5. Unplug your TrapMaster when it’s fully charged. You should never leave your TrapMaster in the charger.

To check the TrapMaster’s current battery level, do the following:

  1. Turn the TrapMaster on.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Check the color of the indicator LED which is placed above the speed regulator.

The indicator LED can show three different colors.

  • Green = 66-100%
  • Yellow = 33-66%
  • Red = 0-33%
  • Always charge the TrapMaster before use.
In order to maintain and preserve the battery, the TrapMaster automatically starts discharging the battery.

  • To keep your battery in a healthy condition, you should charge it every 2 to 3 months.
Otherwise it will worsen the battery’s life time drastically.

  • Try to avoid letting your battery run empty.
The best way to preserve the battery is to fully charge it before storing it. Especially if its for more than three months.

  • The batteries will not charge below 5°C/41°F.
If it’s cold outside, it’s always better to charge inside at room temperature (between 15-25Cº).

  • Charge your TrapMaster indoors in a well-ventilated dry location (moisture and extreme temperature fluctuations can affect the charging process).

Outside temperatures can significantly influence the performance of your battery. The power output of a battery will be better in mild to warm weather rather than in sub-zero conditions.

In low temperatures, you may notice that your battery drains faster and that the power output feels slighty less powerful. We recommend starting the TrapMaster on a lower speed for the first few minutes to give it a chance to warm up properly.

Troubleshooting

Bio-clays

The average traditional clay thrower has a 5% chance to crush/break the clay during launch.

Our clays currently have the same chance of breaking (5%). If your clays are breaking more than 5% of the launches, here’s what you can do to prevent it in the future.

  • Store the clays in lower temperatures than mentioned on the packaging and in a dry location. (30/55 degrees celcius dependent on which clays you are using)
  • Be careful and handle the clays with care to avoid damaging them.
    • One tiny crack in the clay will cause it to break during launch.

If they have been exposed to higher temperatures than mentioned on the packaging. (They will feel rubbery)
Please store the clays at a temperature lower than mentioned on their packaging and they will return to their original brittle properties over time. (The lower the temperature the faster it’ll go, but don’t go below 5 degrees celcius.)

TraPmaster

If your TrapMaster is not working as intended, the first thing you should do is restart it.

Turn it OFF, wait 10-15 seconds then turn it ON again.

  • If the above doesn’t solve the issue, then do the following:
    1. Turn it ON.
    2. Do not attach a clay target.
    3. Press the blue load button.
    4. Point it towards the grass or away from any person, object or animal.
    5. Press the red fire button.
    6. Try the above 2-3 times.

In case none of the above solves your issue. Please contact us via the chat or by e-mail here.
